A. Dates to search between
The date range to search by boxes allows you to either type in a specific date range to search for or a set of special date codes which define the date range to use.

B. Date code selector
The date code selector menu next to each date range box allows you to select a specific date code and paste it into the corresponding date range box. This menu helps to alleviate having to remember all the special date codes that can be used.

C. Date code range selector
The date code range selector works much like the single date code selectors except it will fill both date range boxes with a date code. You can use the date range to quickly select a common date range such as this week or last month.

D. Category selection
The category selection area accepts text which will then be used to filter the returned transactions. The search applied is a containing search. This means that if the text is found within the field for the given criteria that transaction will be returned and listed.

E. Cost criteria
The cost criteria boxes accept a minimum and maximum cost a transaction must fall within to be returned in the list.

F. Apply
The apply button performs a search and displays the results below the criteria area.

G. Apply/Hide
The apply/hide button performs a search and also hides the criteria box.

H. Visible categories
The visible categories menu allows you to select what categories you want to see and which you don’t. Only some categories can be hidden.

I. Items per page
The items per page box allows you to select the number of transactions shown on a single page. The default is 20 and the maximum is 100. After making a change, click the show button to apply the change.

J. Hide/Show criteria
The hide/show criteria toggle button allows you to either show or hide the criteria panel depending on if the panel is currently visible or not.

K. Transactions panel
The transactions panel is where any transactions that match to criteria you have specified are shown. If no transactions match the given criteria a message will be showing that informs you of that fact.

L. Current criteria
The current criteria area shows you the criteria that was used to find the currently listed transactions.
