How much does this service cost?
The SL Sales Tracker service is a paid service. There are two methods of payment for you to use. The first is the pay as you go method and the second is the monthly membership payment. Either of the two options is great and can help your business to gain that completive edge over the competition by providing you with solid business intelligence data.

To use the pay as you go method you need to supply payment amounts to the SL Sales Tracker ATMs in world. See below for a list of ATM locations. As each new transaction is recorded by the service, your SL Sales Tracker account will be charged 1L$. You can deposit as much as you wish into your SL Sales Tracker account with any unused balance remaining for future transactions.

The other option available to you is the monthly member ship option though PayPal subscriptions. With this option, you pay the low rate of $3.99 per month and enjoy unlimited transactions with no visits to the in-world ATMs. Because we use PayPal as our payment processor you can rest assured your financial information stays safe.

If you have trouble deciding what option is right for you, try the pay as you go method first. Put some L$ into your SL Sales Tracker account with one of the in-world ATMs. If you find that you enjoy the service, and would like to sign up for the monthly membership later, you can do so at any time.

If after you sign up for the monthly membership you decide you would rather use the pay as you go option simply cancel using the PayPal cancel subscription page and your account will revert to a pay as you go account.

How do I get charged?
Your account is charged when a new transaction is posted to the services by a vendor owned by your Second Life personality. A transaction is posted when someone buys something from one of your in world vendors.

How do I pay for this service?
You pay for the services at payment machines found in world. You can pay the machines as much as you want and the total funds paid will be stored. Each month the fee for using the service will be taken from your account.

The following list of ATM locations can be used to find an ATM you can use to make deposits for SL Sales Tracker. Please ensure the owner of the ATM is Zimbit Vidor before depositing funds.

What if my account runs out of funds but I can't add more right away?
If a transaction is posted and your account has no funds the transaction will still be stored but will not show up in any metrics. When you make another payment at a payment machine in world unpaid transactions are paid with any left over L$ being stored with your account for future transactions.

Can I lose all my money with this service?
The service has no direct access to your Second Life account and as such cannot take money from you. You are in complete control when it comes to how much you want to spend on the service. The service only has access to the amount you place into your account through one of the ATM's.

Where do I get Vendors?
You can get a vendor that is supported by this service in world at one of our locations. These vendors are free and easy to setup. Stop by, in world, and you can find a wealth of information about our vendor machines.

What if I have my own Vendor?
We offer a complete set of scripts that you can integrate into your existing vendor system. If you have purchased your vendor system from someone else, we will be happy to work directly with them to integrate our service with their vendors. Let us know by sending a message here.

What if there is a report, chart or graph I need but can't find in the list available?
Although there are a number of reports you can use to view your data it is possible you will have some desire to see your data in a format not supported by the current gambit of reports. If this is the case feel free to let us know! We actively seek new ways to view the data and are almost always willing to compile a new report and make it available when a request is made. You can use the request new metric form to submit new metric requests. The form is found here.

How long is my data stored for?
Currently data is stored for two years and then is deleted. You can export your data at the end of the two years or when ever you choose so you will not loose it completely but it will no longer be available for use within the service. This two year limit on data storage maybe adjusted in the future to encompass more or less time as hardware limitations change.

What consists of a transaction?
A complete transaction consists of the following things:
Transactions
Step Description
1 One of your customers buys a product.
2 Your vending unit issues data about that transaction to the SL Sales Tracker service.
3 The SL Sales Tracker service logs the data and charges your account an amount based on the number of transactions processed by your account so far that day. [info]
